Ian is a researcher and engineer with expertise in machine learning and applied mathematics. He was most recently a Senior Software Engineer at Google working on neural weather forecasting. Ian holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Washington and BSc and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego.
