Cupertino, CA, Feb 27, 2024 Gridmatic, the industry-leading AI-enabled power marketer,  welcomes Jackson Vo as President of Gridmatic Retail. The company also announces its securing of an Option 1 Retail License in ERCOT, empowering the company to serve customers across all load sizes. 

Vo brings over 25 years of invaluable experience in the energy industry, having held leadership positions at companies such as Freepoint Energy Solutions, Direct Energy, Luminant Energy and TXU. He has honed his expertise in the energy retail space, serving customers across the PJM, ERCOT and NYISO markets.

Securing the Option 1 license marks a significant milestone for Gridmatic Retail, opening up new opportunities for customers with less than one megawatt of energy demand, providing them access to advanced energy procurement strategies often limited to larger energy buyers. 

Option 1 REPs are certified by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
